Coming up with passwords that are simple to remember but tough for others to crack isn't easy. One trick I learned a few years ago was to replace letters like 'B', 'I' and 'S' with the numbers 8, 1 and 5. So, if your password is 'rabbit', change it to 'ra881t'.

Here we go again. Gas prices are higher again and now the silly email forwards are back. The one about boycotting Exxon and Mobil gas stations is my favorite. It sure sounds good, but it’ just won’t work.

Those green Coinstar kiosks in (primarily) grocery stores will now turn your spare change into iTunes credits. Change in $1.08 and you'll get a receipt that can be used at the iTunes store. Yes, $1.08, as Coinstar charges a 9% transaction fee. Ouch. Last year Coinstar announced it would let customers convert change to Amazon.com [...]

I tend to work a little faster when my programs are always in the same order on the taskbar. If you run more than a couple of programs at a time, download Taskbar++. Hold down the ALT button and slide your taskbar buttons into that order that works for you.
